For films a screening licence is a legal requirement to show films outside the home and cinema under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act of 1988, even if your film is your own or a rented copy.
Screening a film without a licence is an infringement of copyright law. It is a civil and in some cases, criminal offence to show a film in public without the permission of the copyright owner or their representative. Therefore we hold a Public Video Screening License (PVSL) issued by Filmbank which enables us to show films from the following distributors in each of our vehicles:

To protect the rights of music performers, writers and composers and ensure that royalties are collected and paid to them, the MCPS-PRS Alliance was formed and is responsible for issuing licenses for the public performance of music. Each of Hewkin Executive's vehicles holds a PRS License so we can provide music for you or you can bring your own.
